MNG Airlines, established in February 1996, initially began to provide scheduled cargo services in November 1997 to Hahn (Germany) and Stansted (England) with a middle range Airbus A300 freighter.

Today, MNG Airlines continues its cargo and passenger operations with 8 Airbus        A300-B4-200, 7 F-27’s, 1 CL-600 jet passenger type of aircrafts.

Besides the fact that its fleet has grown in years,
MNG Airlines has also included various service and operational units into its management portfolio. With these units, MNG Airlines has formed a position of a highly respected leader in the region by creating its own service quality. In addition, taking into account of the brilliant future of tourism potential of Turkey, MNG Airlines decided to invest on passenger operation in 2001.

In spite of the conflicts and wars in the region MNG Airlines added passenger aircrafts to its fleet every year parallel to the agreements with giant tour operators of the world. Over 3000 flights a year to 46 destinations in thirteen countries provides almost 600000 seats to the visitors of Turkey in 2004.

Having the largest cargo fleet, with almost %85 of the total capacity of Turkey, MNG Airlines is one of the most successful A300 operators in the world. Besides the scheduled services between Istanbul/Hahn (Germany)/Luton (United Kingdom) which has been going on since 1997, MNG Airlines is growing as capacity provider to prestigious airlines and integrators not only in the region but all around the world. Wet lease and ACMI became the core business of our company.

MNG Airlines with its B type license, provides Ramp Handling Services to all cargo aircraft in our fleet since 2002.
 

MNG Technic was founded on November 2002 as a subsidiary of MNG Group of Companies to provide line and heavy maintenance services for aircrafts in Istanbul, Turkey. After getting rewarded for JAR 145 approval, MNG Technic began to provide services on its 5,000 square meters maintenance hangar, which is suitable for one wide body and two narrow body, or four narrow body aircrafts at the same time. Today, MNG Technic is providing services to MNG Airlines’ B737-400, MD-82 and A300 cargo and passenger aircrafts as well as carriers in more than 6 countries, in three continents at its base at the cross point of Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Africa.

MNG is a JAA approved company for maintenance, repair, inspection and modification of aircraft with years of practical experience in heavy maintenance and provides high quality maintenance programs in line with the JAA requirements for each aircraft and customer. In addition, MNG Airlines has gained EASA part 145 Approval on 30 November 2004 for its maintenance services.

MNG Airlines became a Bonded Import Warehouse Operator with fully equipped premises at EC standards located at a distance of 12km from the Airport. MNG Warehouse stands on 8.000 m2 with a volume of 48.000 m3 and 7.000 Euro-pallet capacity. The facility provides customs registration and inspection facilities and storage. All cargo transactions are done with the latest barcode system for efficient service delivery.

To bring service closer to customers and provide door to door service, MNG Kargo was established in February 2003 and has been growing fast ever since. MNG Kargo, first in Turkey, has brought “Delivery within 24 hours” service standard with its domestic cargo carrier management as of the last week of May 2004. Together with 29 transfer points, 433 branch offices, 360 mobile offices, head office, 16 regional offices; the number of service point has reached up to 832 in two years.

MNG Airlines will run a fleet of 30 aircrafts in very near future with over 1000 professional staff.
