Security is provided with 15 well-trained security staff on 24 hours basis. The CCTV rooms observe and record all the physical movements both indoors and outdoors with 48 cameras. Three separate video recorders work at the same time. Each video is kept in the archives for 3 months.
Cargo taken by the MNG
staff from the aircraft is transferred from the C Terminal to the
MNG
Warehouse with sealed vehicles. With the benefits of high tech equipment cargo is classified, stowed and ready for delivery.
MNG
uses a software program where the stock registration, warehouse calculation, freight, and accounting system work in integration. Upon the acceptance of the cargo, RF Terminals and Barcode system is all processed electronically until the cargo delivery. The automated system removes the risk of wrong delivery and/or loosing the items. In addition, manual check procedure is done periodically on a monthly basis and electronic stocks are matched against the actual stocks.
MNG, on request, provides filtered data to Companies and Airlines by e-mail, fax or SITA line free of charge.
Cargos arriving at MNG Warehouse are carefully stowed and stored without any damage or shortage until the delivery time. If there is any damage at the cargo before arrival at the
MNG Warehouse, an official report is prepared immediately in surveillance of the customs authorities. This report is then given to the cargo owner at delivery.

Formed in consultation and supervision of the foundation of fire department. There are fire extinguisher and a fire alarm system, classic fire extinguisher equipment, fire hoses and springler fire extinguisher system available for emergency situations. Springler fire extinguisher system goes into effect only at the area where the fire alarm has been received and thereby cargo located in the other areas are prevented from being damaged.
There are 5 cold stores where a total of 50 m3 5o C degrees perishable cargo and medical cargos can be protected.
There are areas where secondary security zone is located to hide valuable cargo.
At MNG Warehouse, there are
Two 3 tons capacity forklifts for outdoor purposes,
Five 2 tons capacity truck forklift for indoor purposes,
Eight 2 tons capacity Hydraulic transpallet,
One 2 tons capacity elevator,
One 2 tons capacity electronic scales.
A customer agent has been assigned to every airline and Express Cargo firm working with MNG
Warehouse and every detailed information and assistance can be obtained 24 hours a day.

2 trucks, each with 30 m3, 10-12 tones capacity,

Global guarantee in the value of 1.000.000 USD is available at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport Customs Authority. Transit operation to all the customs located in Turkey are carried out with global guaranteed vehicles.
Insurance covering all the risks and financial liability to third parties including the processes from the delivery of cargo to MNG, storage, transportation and up until the delivery of cargo to its owner.
